FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A: There is still lots of hands on requiered in the creation of my art. I only use high quality inks, Indian inks, and relief inks. This means that in general, the colours and appearance are consistent between individual prints. However, each print is unique since factors such as temperature, humidity, fill level, and paper used determine the appearance of the final product. Nevertheless, I only sign and sell art that meets certain quality standards.
A: For all of my art I use high quality and acid free papers (200-300 g/m² ). Some papers have a watermark or embossing, which one hallmark of premium papers. Some designs are better suited for white or offwhite colored papers. The paper used can be obtained from the product description. This image shows the difference between the two paper whites:
A: Every piece comes with the current number and the limitation (bottom left corner).
All penplots have my logo in metallic gold or chrome. Including the title and signature (both handwritten) is possible in most pieces. Just reach out to me via info@sander-liessem.com or using the contact form. However, for some pieces this is not possible depending on the image format and position of the logo.
All linocuts have a handwritten title and signature.
